I have created a Custom Business Object in the Cloud application studio of C4C. Then I created an Embeded Component to make the date visible on the UI of the Opportunity.
No Problems so far, but one of the requirements is that not every user should see all of the fields.
There are no UI switches on the custom Components I think, and if i try to add an extensionfield on my BO to indicate if the field is readonly or invisible it woud cause a change on the BO and it would be locked.
So if another user would open the same Opportunity the script would try to set the access variable again and i'm not sure about that, but i think it would cause a dump.
My idea was to create a helper BO that loads the access rights of the current user and controls the visible and read only flags.
But I need the ID of the Current User in the UI Script, is there any way to get this information?
Does anybody know, if there is something like the context variable in ABSL also available in Ruby?
Or if anybody has an easier way to make it, please tell me.
